Lack of maturity and lack of communication. Parents are uncomfortable with talking to them about such personal issues, so they end up learning about sex through peers, and of course peers aren't gonna talk about std's and they think teen pregnancy is cool, now the girl has proof she's been laid. They don't think about what happens after 9 months, and the boy knows he can just deny that the baby's his.

Well, people aren't informed that it's wrong. I their are at least 14 than they probably won't listen and do it anyways. But if they are yonger than they will listen if you say DON'T DO THAT.
