why do people ask health question they can just look up online?

Question:

I mean unless they are just looking for other people with the same disease to get advice. Why come in here and ask when it's all there on the net.

Answers:
For the same reason anyone asks any questions in here. Its a place to get real answers from real people. And you might actually hear from someone who has been through the same thing and can offer better advice than the net can. Also they probably know which internet suggestions don't work.

Other Answers:
People rely on other peoples opinions they don't trust medical sites but they will trust the opinions and experiences of total strangers. People are like that.

Because they are lazy.

Or maybe they trust us more than they tust medical webpages :O

Because it is more fun to find out what others have to say. Plus, I think for some, maybe it's more believable to hear (or see) advice from real people instead of reading about it on a web site. They like chatting with nice persons like you

just want to ask a question and see if others are knowledgeable or not.and since its all about the 10 points..while some questions are just meant to make others .feel bad.and spread evil..(the questions in the religion section ) .

You answered your own question. They want to find somebody going through the same thing. All the info is out there on the net but a lot of it is conflicting and all of it is impersonal. By posting questions here they get more of a personal response.
