Menstrual cramps, i know how you feel ever since i got mine i could not stand the pain, my advise to you is to hold it out, soon after a while you get used to the pain, but this is becuas eof the flow, the more you lose the more you get cramps, if you feel hurt from the cramps, rest, eat and drink fluids.
I have found that a hot pad or walking helps. I try to take my mind off the pain by listening to music, or cleaning. If you are looking for a over the counter med, try Midol, or pamprin. Both work very well for me. Best of luck.
Try taking a warm bath before you go to sleep or if that doesnt work -
try taking an iron rich medicine/diet - iron helps the blood flow easily thus easing the pain.

2. Raise your legs.
3. Pretend you are cycling and start pedalling.
4. Count: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
5. Repeat again until the cramps are gone.
Try exercising. Exercising alleviates the cramps and you'll feel better. Oh and I recommend midol or Ibuprofen. Feel better!
as far as over the counter med. I was told the best thing is naproxin (aleve) works best. It works for me.
Try Midol.I haven't exactly tried it yet but my cousin says it really works.
