Are your deepest scars inside or out?
Question:
Answers:
My deepest scars are definitely inward. A scar whether out or in is a reminder of an injury. Many scars heal over time, but although the really bad ones fade, they seldom disappear completely. The scar on my knee from falling on my bike reminds me not to ride roughshod over rocks and broken pavement. The scar on my heart is a bittersweet memory, but it assures me that I will never forget one I loved dearly.

Inside because the outside scars eventually fade with time and skin creme. Inside scars never fade they just get pushed aside to the back of our minds.
Definitely inside
Out. And I am trying to heal it, but I think it will take a really long time. Also, I have one from a snake bite and hole on the bottom of my foot from when I stepped on a nail. I am a bit of a klutz. I have even had stitches twice, both times from hitting my head on red trucks (once during blind man's bluff and the other at my brother's baseball game when I went to fetch a ball and tripped.)
Wish me luck when I go snokeling Monday!
inside...
inside...are you a shrink?
inside
I would have to say both inside and out. Scars I've had from surgery and stuff like chickenpox, ...and the emotional scars that linger within my soul.
My emotional scars run so deep you can almost see them.
in my minds eye
both but mostly on the inside
The ones you cant see, only feel are the ones that hurt the hardest therefore the deepest .So yes inside.
The inside scarring is the worst. It stays with you your entire life. Sometimes those scars creep up on you and surface, much to our surprise.
Inside scarring also causes the most damage. It molds who we become. It makes us withdraw, it makes us angry, it makes us sad.
Learning how to accept and deal with those scars is the important issue.
Can we ever learn to ignore them? I doubt it!
But perhaps we can learn to live with them, if nothing else.
Both
They compliment each other.
What a deep question. But I think you already know what I'm going to tell you being that you can read people so well with that radar thing you have.
Both in and out have been rather traumatic, however they all have been healing slowly. Time sort of does that you know. The ones on my chest are almost gone now, but behind it- hard not to notice.
Both fade away with time, but deepest scars go inside because on skin the pain is at one spot but emotional scares run till they fade away with time and them you feel pain
The outside. I figure the body is weaker and more vulnerable than the spirit. There's not much that can wound your soul, unless you let it.
Inside for sure, although people tend to wear their emotions upon their person so the inside becomes apparent after time
inside
outside
the ones you will never see are the worst
You are begging the question, my dear. Do you have your tin cup in hand? Questions are known for their generosity when it comes to giving alms. The deepest cuts are always the ones no one can see. They are the ones we carrry around with us that never heal. No ointment can heal the scar of a broken heart or of a deep dark brooding resentment because of a real or imagined wrong. You have shown a few of yours in our correspondence, something that I am unable to do. Guys are different when it comes to opening up emotionally. Perhaps, yours is the healthier approach. I still bear the emotional scar of when Angelina Jolie dumped me for that Brad Pitt guy. What was she thinking!
outside, but even the littlest ones inside are more noticeable to me. neither bother me, so much as i am just aware of my inner ones.
The deepest scar is in the heart. All scars heal with time, but when the heart is scared it takes the longest to heal. And sometimes it never heals at all.
inside like almost every person in this thing! meh emotions, emotions, emotions. drama, drama, drama. but i do have scars outside. lol
don't have many in or out
but the ones i have are on the inside
