I am in need of a kidney transplant, how do I tactfully ask people if they will donate a kidney?

I'm pretty sure you would have to go through the hospital or your doctor and be put on a transplant list. I can't imagine going around asking people...that sounds like your in the middle ages! Good luck with the transplant, you sound very brave and optimistic about the whole thing, which is always a big plus when it comes to your health.
