Does anyone abhor smoking and try to keep a distance from people that are smoking?

Question:

I am wondering becuase I recently quit and now I am realizing how disgusting it is. Now I see a good looking man walking down the street and when he pull out a cig, I think 'ewww' and I am no longer interested. Now that I am down smoking, I am wondering how many other people that feel this way are out there?

Answers:
I've never smoked but my parents did on and off for years and now I can tell when someone lights up sitting across the street from the house. I hate it on the train. it makes me irritable. Not only will it provoke me to possibly cough but it affects my allergies, as well.

Me, I do! It is absolutely yucky, I am pleased you agree =) Smokers are repulsive.

I quit once and felt the same. It makes everything stinky and nasty. But of course I was pregnant then and now I started back. I wished I would have NEVER started back but I am going to try and quit again because I have bronchitis. But it is totally normal, how you are feeling.

quit got back quit got back. etc. it always is worst wright after you quit. and yes you never do realise how bad it stinks when you do smoke. but that isn't stopping me for the time being. (cough)

I am against smoking. I am also against drinking. They are two very disgusting habits. Well I had sort of the opposite thing happen to me. I hated it too, and still do pretty much, I would never start smoking myself. But I dated someone who I was really attracted to, so when I smell smoke on someone (like on clothes or something- not breath) when they aren't smoking- I kinda like it, but I don't want to be around the actual cigarette or smoker. Make sense? It's kind of a contradiction but I can't help it.

I hate it smoking and keep my distance from those that do. I am a non-smoker hate the smell of cigarettes and I do not want to breathe in 2nd hand smoke. I get a sore throat from that smoke and steer clear when possible.

I went into a funeral home for a service and it stunk. I thought maybe they allowed it to give them more business.
