Swelled pinky?

Question: I got hit in the tip of the pinky finger with a baseball yesterday. I didn't ice it, and it's swelled a little with a purple area on the top most knuckle.

It doesn't hurt but is irritating. Is there a way to make the swelling go down other than time, or is it to late now?

Take some Advil and put ice on it. the ibuprofen from the Advil reduces swelling and get you over that tiny irritating pain.

you're supposed to ice it for the 1st 24 hours, the nafter that soak it in warm water to relax the muscles. put some icey hot on it that should help with the pain and swelling
