Answers:
tell your coach so she will know that you are not slacking - If all the women on here can understand I am sure that your coach will too.

Take some medication whatever you normally take and try your hardest to get through the tryouts. You will do just fine I am sure.
Take Ibuprofen (motrin or advil) BEFORE your cramps start and take 1 with every meal. Ibuprofen prevents prostaglandins from building up. Prostaglandins are the 'things' which cause cramps.
You basically have 3 options. Tell the coach, push yourself through the tryouts, or don't try out. You could try some advil or aleve or motrin for the pain. Maybe some pepto for the nausea. Unfortunately, it's the curse we girls have to deal with. Sorry. Good luck at the try-outs.
Yeah, make sure that you take medication before you get cramps. And if you dont mind, it would be more comfortable if you wore a tampon instead of pads, for comfort.
If you coach is female, Im sure she wouldnt mind and will understand whats going on :)
If you have periods anything like I did when I was a teen, you better take about two or three advil before tryouts. Pray you don't get sick and if that fails, what can you do? If you're sick you're sick.
