Jogging in hot weather can give a jogger a stroke.
Jogging in rainy or stormy weather can cause a jogger to be struck by lightening.
Jogging on rough or uneven surfaces can cause a lot of broken bones.

That's why I quit jogging to stay healthy.
Probably because they jog into dark or less traveled areas, and those are the places maniacs lurk and hide their victim's bodies.
its natures way of telling work out freaks that no matter how healthy you are your still going to die.
That doctor who was a total jogging advocate died of a heart attack at a fairly early age. I am not sure if he was jogging at the time.

I more into bike riding anyway. A lot less strain on the joints.
It's not because of the actual jogging. It's a typical story that some woman gets up before the sun and decides it's that moment that she is sheilded from any sort of doom. She goes out at a time when a lot of creeps are out...oh, and did I mention they usually pick parts of town where most people would stay out of during waking hours.and some weirdo chops her up or rapes her. She's alone and usually unaware of her surroundings b/c she's pretending to be a friggin' Spice Girl while listening to her IPOD.
It sometimes will happen that a blood clot will be dislodged in an unhealthy person, and that will cause them to die when they jog. They could also have a heart attack from the strain. This is why, if you are going to get healthy, take it a step at a time, don't start an athlete's exercise regimen as a beginner to fitness.
