Carsick help?

Question:
I just rode in the car and now I have a "car sick headache" and I feel nacious (sp?) I dont want to feel like this all day, help! I am laying flat on my back eating ice chips. I dont have any canned peaches to drink the syrup. Is there anything I can do?

Answers:
The age-old standby for nausea and upset stomach has been cola syrup. For adults take 1-2 tablespoons every 15 minutes until the symptoms subside (no more than six doses in a 24 hour period).
Make a tea by mixing 1 teaspoon fresh ginger juice and 1 teaspoon honey in a cup of boiling water; drink as needed.
It will work, trust me.
next time try riding in the front seat
Yup.i get this all the time! I find that drinking a cap full of neat whisky in 1 helps. Works for me everytime!

Good luck!
Mostly what gets me is the smell. Try smelling something that you like to get rid of it. Also dont focus on anything.if anything, try going to sleep for a while. Because when your in the car and you focus on something like reading or anything...it will make you sick. So the best way to get rid of it is time. Sleep!
Car sickness is actually motion sickness. It is caused by changes in G-forces and perception while the body is in motion and should clear up immediately once the motion stops. It is characterized by nausea and vomiting. You have a headache. This is not from car sickness, but could be from the car. What you describe could be a mild migrane, which would explain the nausea you are experiencing. Migraines can be triggered by many things, including dust, mold, mildew, chemicals, etc. If this happens to you when you drive in ANY car that would be surprising. If it only happens when you are in a PARTICULAR car, you need to examine what could cause the problem.

Speak to your doctor about this (over the phone should be sufficient). I would be surprised if he agreed it is motion sickness.
Nibble some dry toast or crackers and sip water.

Also do you have any herbal tea - chamomile or fennel? that often helps. Sipping flat coke can help too.
Ginger can help. Try ginger tea. Other than that, I can only recommend that you don't let your blood sugar drop too far--it will only make it worse.
I try to keep my head down when possible. That way you are not looking at the scenery going by which can make you become car sick. Hope you feel better.Later
i have the same problem from time to time, the best way is juts to sleep it out and drink plenty of fluids, well as much as you feel you can, like the ice chips, draw the curtains in your room and switch off the light, this helps a bit too,
