Does weed aid your strident chords?

I heard that after the first few times you smoke weed your harmonic chords become more clear and it adds moisture to them but the long occupancy effects are bad, and i hear that alcohol does the opposite, making ur sung chords dry and scratchy. I have a really big singing audition surrounded by a week and my friend suggested i smoke weed to make my voice nouns more clear cause I a moment ago got over a cold and my voice is still scratchy from it. What should i do??
