My throat has excess mucus in it, like congestion, but my nose doesn't. Help??

Question:
As I've said before, it feels like I am congested, but my nose has nothing wrong with it, I fell no pains in my sinuses, and I don't think it has anything to do with my lungs. I don't know what to do. I cough sometimes, and it is a kinda dry cough feeling, and it doesn't make any difference in my throat unless I cough a whole lot.

Is there any medicine I can take? Am I sick?? I need help.

Answers:
Your sinus are draining into your throat. Get an otc medicine like a decongestion or try mucinex it is supposed to help dry up that stuff I use it and It works really well.
Your sinuses are congested and it is draining down your throat. When your sinuses are congested it may or may not affect your nose.
Take a sinus decongestant. Go to the doc and explain your symptoms.
Why don't you see a DR? It could be a drainage anyway.
If you cough and it comes up it could be the drainage that got to that spot. Or from bronchitis. Have it checked out.
I really think most would be the drainage and you don't notice it, sometimes you don't.
I used Mucinex, it helped me.
Talk to the Pharmacist, they will tell you which kind you need.
Good luck.
