This nutritionist doesn't seem to bright if they won't tell you why your taking it. Vitamin B12 helps maintain healthy nerve cells and red blood cells. It is also needed to help make DNA. If you are deficient symptoms include anemia, fatigue, weakness, constipation, loss of appetite, and weight loss and depression, confusion, dementia, poor memory, and soreness of the mouth or tongue.

B12 is used by the body to maintain healthy nerve cells and red blood cells among other things. In the future, if you have a question about any medicine you receive ask the person prescribing it for you, BEFORE YOU TAKE IT!!!
Vitamin B12 is important for the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system and for the formation of blood. She might be giving to you as a treatment for or as prevention against anemia.
