Am I the only one to feel this when having an orgasm?

Question:
the only way i can describe it is like a small electrical shock just along my spine from the base of my skull to about mid back...does this happen to anyone else?

Answers:
im sorry, it hasnt happened to me. I only have the feeling of the orgasm in the located area. If it happens a lot you should ask a doctor. Does it take away from the pleasure of the orgasm?
If it does, then dont hesitate, see someone. But if it doesnt bother you it may just be nerves or something..
no - but I wish it did!

lol
No, I have tingles throughout my entire body that feels like it originates at the center of my being and emanates outward til it is dispersed to my fingertips and toes. Ahhh it feels so good. Ethereal.
Odd that I would answer this ?, as though I'd know.but...I suspect that the problem may be muscular/skeletal in nature, aside from the sex involved. In other words, I'll bet you could produce the same pain or 'shock' (sounds like a nerve) by arching or moving your body in some manner without the sex. It's probably that during the orgasm you are creating the right mechanism for that 'shock' to be felt.***EDIT: Physiologically, it sounds as though the likely source would be in the neck, shoulder area. Ask a physical therapist...they're hip to 'where pain comes from'
