What are the long-term effects, if any, of taking pain medication?

Question:
i've been vicodin and percocets for about 6months straight. I can handle the withdrawel when that day comes, but what are the effects of these medications on the body, and mind?

Answers:
your addicted go to rehab tell your family about it so they can help you out, side affects include becoming dependent on the pain killers and start feeling pain when you stop taking them for a while, they start killing brain cells.

why are you taking them anyways
ask your doctor.or try webmd
addition is the big one. hearing loss can also occur with vicodin. feeling out of control and trapped and have an effect on the spirit and the mind. detox can be pretty bad so i hope you really are prepared for what you are going to experience.
The only 2 are addiction and withdrawl symptoms which go hand in hand. They don't actually cause any damage to you unless you OD.
