I have been very sad lately. Now I am having weird symptoms. What is the cause?

You, my dear, are chronically depressed w/ anxiety. As a fellow sufferer, I can tell you that it's SO common now, especially with women. But the good news is that there are great medications that work, and no one even has to know you're on them!! Yes, you should see a doctor ASAP. You must tell her/him EVERYTHING that's been happening to you. That will help him figure out which med is best for you. If anything, you might lose 5% of your weight. Please get to a doctor! It'll be the best thing you've ever done for yourself. You won't be in that big black hole anymore. You won't just be going through the motions. there are many things that can cause your symptoms, first one comes to mind for me is clinical depression, easily treated, but left untreated can cause many symptoms. you should probably consult a doctor to rule out anything physical.
Stress weakens the immune system. Sickness weakens the body's resilience against stress.
It's a vicious cycle, and you are right in the middle. Good luck getting out of this one, it's a beast.
I recommend (not necessarily in this order): doctor visits, medications, neurofeedback, massage therapy, and personal fitness training. That's what it has taken for me to see the light at the end of the dark tunnel called my life. But there is no end to my life. I only see the end of the darkness.
The symptoms you describe of feeling stressed, sad, tired, weary and loss of appetite are classic symptoms of depression. Even the anxiety part.untreated anxiety leads to depression.
By all means, see your doctor. He/she will need to rule out all other physical illnesses that could possibly cause your symptoms.There are many medical treatments for anxiety and depression. No reason to feel as though you are living under a black cloud.
Your doctor can prescribe medication and/or counseling if necessary.
