How do you get rid of shin splint? Are their certain stretches you can do, or do i just take time off? I only have it when i run. It usually starts hurting bad after the first 3/4 mile, then it hurts for the rest of the time, but i don't want to stop running b/c i have to get in shape for soccer. Help please?

Try using Shark's Cartiledge, (a nutritional supplement available at health food stores and some regular retail stores and pharmacies) and see if that works. It works for joint problems, and I think it helped when I had shin splints.
