Answers:
because its the umbilical cord , and its by your uterus. or attached lol
maybe thats not your belly button ;)
jk,i'm not sure
I did pick my belly button all the time when there are deposits inside, but there was no pain felt. Maybe you have a nerve connected to your groin area!
That's not normal, see your doctor
It's because all the nerves in your body are going to (and coming from) the same place; the spinal cord. Because of this, they are all gathered very close together and sometimes effect eachother. I'm guessing that if you looked up the nerves from the belly button (umbilicus) and the nerves fro the groin, they are probably right next to eachother on the spinal cord.
Is that a normal thing to feel? I don't know but when I clean out my belly button with a Q-Tip, I go crazy lol I just dig in there and get the dirt out and I don't feel any pain at all. However, I do have a friend who sounds like has the same problem as you. She gets pain when she cleans her belly button with a Q-Tip but we think we might know why. She had surgery near her stomach and so the cut her open from her belly button and so on and so now whenever she cleans it out or tries to, she feels pain because of the surgery she had on her. It's been 3 years now since she had hers though! I told her to go see a Dr. because maybe they didn't stich her right so she could heal in that area. I don't know though if you had something similar to her experience. Just be careful and take care. If you're really worrying, you might want to check it out soon!
