I just had a nose bleed, but the blood was only coming out of one side. Is stress the cause?
Question:
Answers:
It is caused by weak veins and dry weather. It is always out of one side.
I never bleed out of both nostrils..Its normal also could be the heat causing it.
It can be stress.it can also be because your sinuses are dry. It only coming out of one side doesn't really narrow down the source. Is the air dry where you are?
You can't be diagnosed online. There's no way to give you a definitive cause for the nosebleed (epistaxis). The capillaries in the nasal passage are friable (fragile) and lots of things can cause epistaxis from hypertension to frequent nosepicking to dry nasal membranes. If it happens again, see a doctor and find out the real reason.
No, I have them frequently. For me, it's a hereditary thing where the blood vessels in my nose are very close to the surface; when it gets really dry (especially in the winter or when I'm in AC for a long time) then usually only in one nostril do I get a nosebleed. IF you have frequent nosebleeds, then I would see a doctor and then you can take a stress test to see if it's due to stress or something else.
