My friend has a problem with sweating?

Question:
She gets very annoyed about it as she says it is really embarrassing. She has tried various deoderents but none seem to work and she gets paranoid about what to wear. Also it has effected her work as people have complained about the hint of BO. What can she do? (only serious answers as it is effecting her self asteem)

Answers:
keeping clean is important, and avoiding spicy food will help-
theres a device called a drionic,as shown on the site below,it reportedly works for some- botox injections are very effective for most people, thers also a metalic disc that when rubbed under the arms cuts down on bo-see below
if it's that bad see a doctor. nothing over the counter is going to help.
Tell her to speak to her GP. There are some cosmetic procedures that can be done to stop excess sweating.
In the mean time, try mitchum deodorant. My hubby swears by it, cos its the only thing that works for him.
you can get a great thing off the docs

its called driclor

its stops sweating and its apparently really really good

she should ask for that
If she has really overactive sweat glands then Botox can be used (go see a doctor to get it done though, of course!) to paralyse the sweat glands. It is a very simple and safe procedure, and one that is very succesful.
Alternatively, you can get medicated anti-persipirants, which are a bit stronger than normal.
Essentially, if she sweats more than normal then she should go to her GP. She may feel this isn't a serious enough problem, but GPs regularly deal with this type of complaint.
Has she tried perspirex. I have this problem but just out of one armpit!! I use this and it actually stops you from sweating. You apply it at night and then wash off in the morning. There are others as well. They cost about £8.00 and you can get them from Boots or any other chemist.
ohhhh, you're poor friend :-(. I know many people how have those problems. honestley, none have them have fixed it (yet). but they are still trying to get rid of it. DONT GIVE UP :-D
Excessive sweating is actually quite a common problem.

Your friend DEFINATELY needs to invest in some Driclor. You put it on every evening and wash it off when you wake in the morning. After a few weeks of use, you can start reducing how often you apply it. Stops sweating an absolute treat.

Anti-perspirants are next to useless if you sweat excessively. Driclor sorts the problem out.

Can itch and/or irritate at first, but eventually you and your skin gets used to it. Not an issue anyway because obviously you apply it just before going to bed.

You can get it on prescription or it can be bought online from places like pharmacy2u

Also, tell her to use Mitchum anti-perspirants. Easily the best on the market + they are all sticks rather than sprays - so they are "healthier" to use as well. Dancers use Mitchum because of the protection it gives against sweating AND smell...

Hope this helps.
doctors have special deodorants that she can use by prescription only. also in the mean time, tell her to put on over her deodorant a mixture of cornstarch and baking soda. sounds crazy but it will keep her drier and absorb the odor better
Deodorants alone are not sufficient for this condition.
Your friend needs to make sure she is buying and using Anti-Perspirants.
Many people don't like the white streaks it makes on clothes, but most of the top brands go on clear. There are also Anti-Perspirant gels which work very well. As another person pointed out, Mitchum works really well. I use the Men's and I never sweat under my arms, and it smells good the entire day.
Try the doctor! they can prescribe special deoderant for sweaty bettys, and make sure shes showering a couple of times a day, she should also wear cotton, breathable fabrics.
My sister had a problem with sweating underarms but, she didn't have an odor I also had a friend who had the same problem with no odor. They both got a prescription for Drysol (commonly prescribed for excessive sweating) and they haven't had any problems since. Tell your friend to ask her primary care provider for a prescription for Drysol. If she gets the Rx tell her not to shave her underarms before using the medication because it will burn like heck. Tell her to wait a day or two after shaving and then try the medication. Trust me it really works.
have your friend see a dermatologist - i have the same problem with my hands and feet, turns out its something called hyperhidrosis (which really just means excessive sweating) and can be stopped with a variety of options the dermatologist should explain to you. Not all dermatologists know about this - try looking it up online, there's various websites and societies. Hope this helps!

ps - tell your friend not to worry - i was always incredibly self conscious about it, your friend's not alone.
Every one gets bad BO now and again ...some more then others , But Shes needs too Wash frequently , try differant deodrenents and try differant body sparys but she should grow out of it over time if this dont happen see a doctor about it they should able too help you
good luck
if i was her i would go and see a doctor at least he will give her something for it.

i really feel sorry for people who have this problem and i hope theirs a cure for it very soon.
Chlorophyll from a Health Store is the answer.

Chlorophyll is an internal deodorant that deodorises your interior and reduces the odour of everything that comes out including perspiration.
