Try some crocs. They aren't the cutest, but lots of people in the medical profession are doing it. Very comfy...antislip...
Crocs are surprisingly comfortable all day long. They aren't the most attractive shoes, but your feet will thank you.
I would but an ECCO shoe, you will pay between 60-80 dollars, but the comfort is amazing if you are on your feet all day. These shoes are actually designed to mold, and stretch with your foot, and uses the best materials. A pair of shoes from this brand will last a while. I am also on my feet all day because I teach special education!
I wear New Balance. I'm on my feet a lot during the day, but it dosnt sound like I'm on my feet as much as you are though. If your feet hurt, try something like aspirin or the medicine that helps all the places the hurt or feel sore on you. They also last long too. Most of my shoes are wrecked by the time January roles around. They're only 6 months old and you can't really even wear them anymore, but I've had my New Balance a year now, and there's nothing wronge with them.
Walking shoes. Those are designed specifically for walking and standing around. They're extra comfy and should provide good support. They're generally not the msot stylish shoes around, but check out a specialty shoe store and I'm sure they'll help you out.
check out a shoe company called SAS... they're expensive and they're not the coolest looking shoe you've ever seen... I think they are actually prescribed by doctors for people with foot and back problems. the website is pretty basic, but you can contact them and find sas retailers near you...
