I want to start donating blood. How often should I donate?

Question:

Answers:
Make sure of the minimum age to start donating blood. Then start and the organization would remind you every 56 days.

Please note only donate once every 56 days. That is how long the body takes to replace the amount of blood you donated(500ml).
About every 60 days if you are serious
They will advise you.
Call your local blood center and see where the nearest donation center is.
You can't give as often as you might like to. After you give, they will give you a paper telling you when the next time you are able to give.
Not too often because you'll get tired. They'll probably advise you, though.
Pl. visit the Red Cross. They would be delighted with your proposal and kind gesture. Red Cross will advice you accordingly.
The red cross will tell you that you can't donate until a certian date!
Go to http://www.redcross.org/services/biomed/... and read about this. Then to find a location near you on the LEFT put in your zip code.

Or go to www.givelife.org
