My son has been taking straterra 40 mg for almost a month for adhd. The only side effect I can tell so far is about 3 hours after he takes it he says he feels like he is going to throw up . I have started giving it to him at night instead of the morning so maybe his stomach wont be upset during the day . My question is how long can i expect this to last ?

Were you giving your son strattera in conjunction with food? Most of those who take it find that they get very sick if taking it on an empty stomach but feel no effects if taken with breakfast or a meal.
Usually, the nausea passes in 2 to 6 weeks but, if it does not, you should tell the doctor as he can switch to a different medication.
