What are ways to quickly & immediately lower blood sugar?

Question:
I downed a grande Starbucks Strawberries & Cream Frappucino in a few minutes (it's hot here!) an hour after having a cup of broccoli & cheese soup, lasagna, and breadsticks. I don't normally have this much sugar at a time and I feel very dizzy and faint. I'm drinking a glass of water and just sitting in the chair. How can I lower my blood sugar quickly and feel better? I'm not a diabetic, by the way.

Answers:
no i have very high blood sugar and my doctor tells me to drink 3-5 glasses of water tap and it will make your blood sugar come down it has brought mine down several times and saved me from being hospitalized.. but, you should be ok it does not mean anything will happen to you except you might be hyper for a while also with the supper you had i would not be worried
Blood sugar needs to be monitored by a doctor and should not be lowered unless under a doctors care.
well, there really isn't much you can do to lower it quickly. just keep drinking water and rest. if it's really bad, you can call your doctor.
if you're THAT serious about it, unfortunately it's very costly and not worth it, but going to a doctor or ER, they'd give you treatments, injections, maybe even make you drink tar, that sucks it all from your system faster than anything, and return you to normal. OR, if you don't want to go that way, drink several glasses of water, eat other foods/etc that have salt or other ingredients that are non-sugar based, so your system can start processing/absorbing that, which will offset the sugar.

Time usually heals it all though. Water to dilute, and non-sugary food to absorb the sugar in your system. Well not really absorb, but to dilute the blood level concentrations with other things.

Don't worry, relax b/c your body is already dealing with it itself with insulin and what not.
Deep diaphragmatic breathing - make sure your belly goes out when you breathe in, and keep drinking lots of water.
Insulin is the only way that I know of that lowers it quickly. Most likely, you don't have any, so keep doing what you are doing, and if possible take a nap.
