What do we do about a coworker with a nasty phlegm filled cough?

Question:
Are me and my co-workers being unreasonable requesting her seat be changed? We have had to put up with the cough, as well as "other bodily functions" going off on a daily basis - and we are tired of it all.

Answers:
Ewww--- consult HR. Then buy her some Mucinex and tell her you are concerned for her. Purposely wipe down everything with disinfectant wipes in front of her too- hopefully she'll get the hint.
wow gross... you need to first figure out the reason for it. If she has a medical problem that is contagious you all def have a reason to ask, but if she has a non contagious medical reason you cannot have her removed because of an illness. The last thing if she is just gross and is effecting your performance talk to her or make it very noticable... when she coughs have everyone run to give her a cough drop, when she farts have everyone giver her beano etc she will hopefully then feel embarrassed and stop also make sure you use lots of air freshner lysol wipes etc.. If not then just say ok honestly we have a bathroom for that and I would appreciate it if you would use it. Good Luck!
