I'm scared?

Question:
I have a lot of anxiety right now, I am having problems with my stomach, severe pains that my dr thinks is related to gallbladder or hernia, and I don't have health insurance so I don't know how much longer I have to deal with it. I am having major anxiety about it, but guess what? I gave up anxiety meds because I was sick of being on them, and I've done so well I feel like I'd be backsliding if I took them again. I am on a low fat diet, but no matter what I eat I end up in pain, and when I said that nothing helps the pain she looked at me like I was a drug seeker, all because I didn't want to be in pain anymore. Most nights I am either crying or doubled over in pain and I'm so sick of it. My best friend betrayed my trust and now she and I are not talking and she's the one that usually calms me down, but after what she did, I don't know if I can ever talk to her again. I feel so alone and scared.

I would recommend taking up Yoga or meditation, even Tai Chi. That's what I do when I get really stressed out, and it really helps. I would suggest taking a class, or buying a how-to DVD that you can use from the comfort of your living room... I really hope this helps give you some answers!
need more info..how old are you?? gallbladder signs-fat, fair, fourty, female. do you fit this?? where is your pain? there are always free clinics around that can help, or you can apply for medicard
No wonder you're scared with the unqualified advice you read here. Let's consider the options. First of all, don't self diagnose. Second, pain is nature's warning system telling you to get some help. Third, do not, under any circumstances take any medication before you are diagnosed. This medical insurance thing really is something that should be looked at. I don't know about where you live, but in Australia, we have a medicare card and if we get sick, we go to the doctor, clinic or hospital and the treatment starts from there. You are not turned away and you are given equal treatment. This is something all governments should consider.
Having said that, let's look at your situation. You must attend a hospital or clinic and inform them that you have "undiagnosed abdominal pain" and they are then, whatever the country, obliged under medical ethics, to treat you. If they refuse, then you should inform them that you are reporting the matter to the medical ethics board of your state or nation.
I assure you that they will, if threatened with this, have to treat you. They are perfectly well aware that if they do not, then you can go elsewhere and be treated, but this will then, if the matter is urgent, as it clearly is, open up a can of worms they don't want. Tell them you are going to speak to a lawyer if you are not treated. They may not like it, but they are subject to the Hippocratic oath and that is a law unto itself.
Remember this; a doctor is sworn to treat the sick and ailing. If he fails to do this, he has failed as a medical practitioner. Do you know the most wonderful doctors in the world? They are the ones who work for a year free of payment for Medicins sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders). They treat people all over the world irrespective of colour creed or nationality. You are a human being and you have a right to be treated. I am angered by any doctor who will not treat you because you lack insurance.
