Answers:
You dont want to supress your sense of smell. If you really wanna lose your smell, have a car accident and head butt the steering wheel.
Thats what I did and i have no sense of smell and have lost have my taste. I cant tell if food if off cause I cant taste, I cant tell if gas has been left on, dont know when a baby has a dirty nappy, cant appreciecte good food, and the list goes on.
I wish I could smell purfumes...
If it really bothers you go see a ears nose and thoat specialist and they may be able to recommend something.
supressing smell? that sounds stupid!
I do not believe it is possible to suppress the sense of smell
I'm not exactly sure how one could even go about doing that. Are you gonna shove tampons up your nose?!
you "surpress" anything for a long enough time, anything will stop. My step-mom cant fart or burp, or even run, because she was tought that it wasnt very ladie like, and it just "surpressed" that ability. I dont shiver, because i told my body to stop, therefore "surpressing it" Smelling is a hard topic, because your body does it naturally, even when sleeping. Its one of your 5 major senses, so its hard to surpress, but i guess one does it long enough, by blocking out the ability to even use or nose, then i guess they wont be able to smell. and probaly not breath from their nose
THIS IS NOT ADVICE..... But I will say that after years and years of abusing nasal sprays, my mother couldnt smell a fart if you let it in her face.... downside to that is (if you think that sounds great) that nasal sprays tend to be addictive. ie, be prepared to carry a bottle of it with you 24/7. And there are ALOT of other side effects it carries with it as well. So I'd say dont do it..
My advice... go work at the city dump... eventually your nostils will be able to handle anything!
