What is the difference between heat rash and sun poisoning?

Question:
Im pretty sure I got sun poisoning because I got little bumps broke out everywhere, and what should I do to help get rid of it?

Answers:
They both look similar, hot, red, itchy (mild form). Check out these web pages for more details.

It will take time to get rid of it. Just don't expose yourself to more UV until it's healed. You can use Calamine lotion or Solarcaine to help treat the symptoms until it subsides. Cortisone cream can also help as well (it's a topical steroid). Just don't go crazy and put it all over your body. It's not good to completely cover your skin with that steroid. Also, Aloe Vera can help reduce swelling and redness. Take an analgesic to reduce pain and redness (Aspirin or Aleve).
