I got bit by a dog when i was young and it was pretty bad, so i have been afraid of dogs ever since. About a year ago i was working the night shift and was walking to my apartment when i was confronted by one of the biggest pit bulls i have ever seen. he walked right up to me and i couldn't move. I was actually scared stiff, all i could hear was my heart pounding. the dog just looked at me and then walked off like nothing happened.
yikes... that sounds NAUGHTY!
When I was alone in my house and I thought a stranger was in my home. eeks.

The last time I got a speeding ticket, scared me so much I couldn't think properly.

My hubby and I were driving out in the desert to find an old abandoned Buddhist community and these guys in this truck started trying to run us off the road and started shooting a shot gun at us. Yup- that was scary.
When I was 7 years old, my cousin put a gun to my head. He was just kidding and the gun wasn't loaded, but at the time I did not know that. I remember freezing and it was an aweful feeling.
Guess that would be several months before I finally got an "auto-immune" diagnosis. Kept getting huge hives, my eyes and lips would swell up like I had been hit, and couldn't breath. Had to go thru 3 idiot doctors before one finally realized that it wasn't "stress", an allergic reaction to an antibiotic (that I had stopped taking 3 months ago!), nor was it all in my head (because after a few days of heavy steroids it would go away for a bit). Remission is a great feeling, but for awhile we weren't sure if the next episode would be "it".
Interesting question. Would like to hear yours!
