Why is my ear swollen all of a sudden?

Question:

My left ear lobe (the dangly part) is swollen all of a sudden. Compared to my other ear it feels twice as big and it has small bumps like a rash on it. I don't wear earrings and I have no clue why it is like this. It is hot and itchy as well.what could this be?

Bug bite? new shampoo? New laundry detergent on your pillow?
Sometimes one of my ears will swell up when I work out or if I have a headache.

Once I got hives on my sides for no apparent reason. They went away and never came back though, so I didn't worry about it.

You may have gotten bitten by something. I suggest see your doctor, for antibiotics.

there's probably a worm inside there eating your earlobe. it's probably laying a bunch of eggs, too, which will hatch into a bunch of little baby worms.

maybe you rubbed up against something put some cortizone on it maybe it will feel better.check it out with a doc

Well, you could have allergies to something.

go see a dr to be diagnosed and treated properly
if it's infected you don't want it to spread
a scratch or an insect bite can develop into an infection

infection does it seem stressed like white red or green

if so it's infection
get antibiotics from a doctor

or a clot in the ear but thats highle unlikly
