You are talking about Ketamine(cat tranquilizer)I have used it and that was stupid enough. we would drive to mexico, buy it from a veterinarian drug store ,it came in a vial and is in liquid form,we would take it home, cook it in the microwave, stick itin the freezer, then scrape what turned into powder and snort it. I never used enought to O.D. but it's crazy. I felt like I was in a dream. I compare it to PCP but the affects dont last as long. I have aslo read medical Articles saying that scientests have used it to experiment with near death experiences. From what they say, its the closest thing to the feeling u get when you are dying. I guess its the euphoria you get . people have said they experince a sense of leaving ther body and seeing themselves while being out of there skin..I dont know, it's wierd though. I will tell you, I had a friend that passed out on it and he would not wake up, finally after about 3 hrs he started to come too. We were young and experimenting but it is an ugly drug and I actually dont know what people see in it.

I don't have any actual statistics or anything of that nature for you, but...
"Special K", Ketamine or "K" as it was known way back in my day had a significant portion of my High School sophomore class addicted. I know several people who overdosed, I don't think any of them ended up going to the hospital but several should have. Everyone was too afraid of getting trouble with their parents its a wonder no one was killed using K.
I'm not into the drug culture myself and never tried it so I can't tell you anything too specific but as someone who has seen the effects I would advise you to stay way from it.
