Try not to think about it as much as possible.
Tell whoever gives you the shot your fears. Let them allow you to lay down while they give you the shot.
While they are giving you the shot, focus on something else, that you enjoy.
Don't worry about it. All you have to remember is that once you take the shot, its just a prick and it only lasts a few seconds.
And also remember that the shot is important, it will stop you from looking like you're a cheetah with red dots! :P
Don't worry about it, try not to think about it, and when you get to the doctor's office, you can think of him/her in polkadot underwear, haha

Me too and what I would like to know is why they can put a man on the moon but cannot give a dose of medicine without jabbing you with a needle!!If I had all the needles sticking out of me that I have had stuck in me ,I would look like a porcupine!!
