Is it possible to be 1/2 italian, 1/4 french, and 1/4 asian and have blonde hair and green eyes?
Question:
But I thought you had to be Sweden to be blonde and Irish to have green eyes.
So my question is did her parents lie to her?
Answers:
-Northern Italians are blond/blue. (It's the southern ones that look like Stallone.)
-French are all over the place in hair/eye color
-Asians can have green eyes
So, yeah, she could be.
It is quite possible. There are many asians with green eyes, especially of Pakistani, Afghan and Iranian descent.
There are lots of fair haired Iranian people. Not only Swedish people are blonde. There are blonde Italians with blue eyes.
Nationality has nothing to do with it. Genetics does.
So the answer to your question is... no, her parents did not lie to her.
No, her parents did not lie to her.
Furthermore, this is a question of GENETICS, not nationality, ethnicity, or race. Blond hair is a recessive trait. Green eyes are a genetic mutation that happens quite frequently.
Yes, it is VERY possible.
It means somewhere along the line, there was a family member with blonde hair, another with green eyes, and chances are, one with white skin. Our genetics choose how we look.
Example: where I use to live, there was a family of american indians. There was only 1 white person in their background(we've discussed it.) They had a boy who had blonde hair and blue eyes, and both of their parents have brown hair and brown eyes.
There are also kids running around there who have black skin and curly black hair, but their parents are indian. They have the bone structure and the shape of their eyes is the same as their parents, but don't have the skin color.
Genetics is just STRANGE!
