Question:
I have a little white bump on the right side of my tongue. It is small, and kinda painful. I have been messing with it a little bit, which makes it more sore. Has anyone else had this, and how do you get rid of it? I am not sure if it is an inflammed taste bud or what. Thanks for the help.
Answers:
It could also be a mouth ulcer on your tongue. Give it a few days and stay away from orange juice and other acidic drinks. It should clear up on its own. Mouth sores are usually quick to heal. You could try rinsing your mouth with salt water or mouth wash with antiseptic in it.
They call them lie bumps, but really it's an infected tastebud.
