Doesn't stop coughing..?

Question:

I've had it for at least two months - I sometimes start coughing for no reason (not sick or anything). It doesn't happen all the time and it's pretty much random.

you should get it checked out.. you could have a rip or scratch on your esophagus..

I think you know what we're all going to say. We can't diagnose you here. You need to see a doctor for a chest Xray.

Yeah, you can get that way. Keep very hydrated (drink lots of water). I went through a period, though it was in winter, but I was just constantly coughing. Hydration will keep it away, eventually.

If you've been on a new medication, that might be a cause - just as a heads up.
