Research the doctor and the facility- I have never had lipo- but I think knowing who is working on you and there experience is helpful
yeah, don't do it.
go on a friggin diet!
You most likely will be under the anesthesia, so advice will do you no good.
You don't always get the results you want, and It depends on how much fat your talking about.
I would not do it! Have you considered going on a diet or working with a Personal Trainer?
wanna share your pain Killers ? :)
This is an extreme if not last resort proceedure. Are you just trying to take the easy way out because you have little will power? I would do anything to prevent having surgery.
If you and your doctor have determined this is best for you then check the certification of the dr that is going to perform this. Your regular dr. s/ refer you to someone he knows is credited. This is a dangerous proceedure as is any surgery.
If your regular doctor does not think you need this then scare yourself into finding a way to loose weight that works for you and stay with it along with exercise to tone your muscles. Learn to eat right also so you are giving your body help with proper nutrition.
Well I would suggest doing this first just to make sure you definitely want lipo.
There are these mineral wraps that Hollywood always uses. They wrap you up tight in ace bandages soaked in this mineral cream and have you do light aerobic exercises like walking for an hour.
From this you a guaranteed to lose 6-20 inches (usually around thighs, upper arms and stomach). I would try this first because it's cheaper and just like exercise.
Good Luck:)
There's an interesting factoid (urban myth?) you may choose to take into consideration.
Every time there has been a strike by medical staff over elective surgery (non essential/cosmetic), death rates fall in hospitals.
Any procedure carries a certain amount of risk to the patient, bad reactions to anesthetics, MRSA infections etc. So, I'd probably argue against it.
However, if you're genuinely set on this, my advice would be go to a reputable clinic, ask to chat to former patients.
Besides, I prefer my women a little "Rubenesque"!
