ORGaN DONOR???
Question:
Answers:
Yep I am an organ donor and they can take anything that can be used. My husband knows and I am on the australian organ donor registery so no one (My mum is against it) can fight against my wishes!
I can understand that some religions are against it and thats fine but for me I don't have an issue with it.
Yes. I will donate anything that can be given to others.
A friend who died in an accident donated three organs (all that were usable). While the organ donation authorities will not identify recipients, they did say that one of them was very close to death.
i plan to be... and will donate all the useful organs, my liver and lungs will most likely be virtually worthless
take every thing from me. i would hope my death would give some one else life
Card carrying organ donor here.
My husband was returned to a normal life when his sister gave him a kidney. the next year, he was given a chance at a life he never knew when he received a deceased persons pancreas and was no longer required to take insulin to live. I will repay the wonderful gifts that have been given to him, I am waiting to be matched with a person needing a kidney. Eventually someone will match me and i will gift one to a total stranger. When I die, the rest of my body will be donated as well.
I would donate any and everything that could be used to help someone. Donating your organs to help someone is such a great thing. I mean, what if Einstien had needed a liver, or George Washington, or Abraham Lincoln or Martin Luther King? Would you give it to them? Of course! You would want them to be able to live up to their full potential so we could have their contributions to society. Without these organ contributions, we might pass up the next great leader or activist or statesman, or musician. I would never want that to happen. Everyone deserves their chance. So yeah, I am totally donating my organs.
Oh, and yeah, I would donate them to science too.
