Do video games have more down sides to your health then up sides???
Question:
Answers:
Well, this answer is truly relative to the particular person and the type of games played.
If you play video games and make excuses why you can't exercise, then YES there are more down sides. I do not know your personal life style, but you could motivate yourself to exercise for every amount of time you play. Also, stereotypically, game players are known for munchies such as pizza, candy, or whatever. Try to have protein snacks around with low fat content to munch on while you play. (I like turkey pepperonis.)
Another aspect of health is your mental health. What you do helps determine your psychology. For instance, a kid who plays violent games 24/7 is not likely to be the next Billy Graham... if you get my drift? LOL There are mind stimulating games out there, which require you to think to solve problems, help your brain keep it's shine. Studies show that people who keep their mind stimulated and not just in ho hum everyday experiences are less at risk for developing Alzheimer's Disease (suduko and crosswords and reading are good too), a sad but common disease where an adult acts like a child and does not even know family, early on. Hope this helps. :)
