Is it true that keeping yrself occupied causes better sleep at night?

I have problems falling asleep and I don't want to take any sleeping pills, because I did and got addicted. But is it true that keeping yrself occupied causes better sleep at night?

Keeping yourself occupied:
1) is likely to make you more physically tired, so it's easier to sleep
2) is likely to hold your interest, so you don't worry about little concerns
3) is likely to help you meet others with your interests, so you'll make more new friends & be happier!
yeah, if you exercise during the day your body will be tired when it's time to go to bed
Sure right.Being occupied all day while have you so tired,even if you try,you want be able to stay up.You will just doze off with out even knowing.

Taking a warm bath came make you more comfortable and help you get a good sleep.

Making sure its not too hot or cold can help you get to sleep.

Try getting a body massage before bed. It will surely put you to sleep if done right.

Make sure you dont go to bed hungry. Eat a low calorie snake before bed.

Excercise before bed.
