Of course, seek professional help, but quickest remedy for heartburn if you don't have tums is mix a little baking soda in a gulp of water.--as much baking soda as you can tolerate.

Tastes HORRIBLE, but works immediately!
Yea Peptobismal
Ya, see a Doctor, but until then use about 1/4 of a teaspoon of baking soda with about a cup of water. I don't know if it is true or not, but I heard to much baking soda can harm you.
If it really is indigestion, stop eating out so much. When you eat at restaurant its so that you don't know exactly what you are eating) You may be allergic to an ingredient. Don't mix too many kinds of foods in one sitting. Don't eat more that the stomach cavity can naturally hold. Drink plenty of water and try to limit your intake of processed foods. Slowly introduce fruits, vegetables and whole grains to your system.
Chlorophyll might help and also pineapple which contains the enzyme bromelain in the core.
