i've officially had a stomach bug for 7 days, constisting of stomach pain and watery diarrhea. eating or drinking anything sends me running to the bathroom. i went to the doctor two days ago and was prescribed imodium and probiotics. after reading about imodium online, i am not going to take it because it sounds like it will prolong my illness if i have a bacteria. i am taking the probiotics. i am still not feeling better. i don't think the doctor much cared what was wrong with me, it was just a walk-in clinic. worst of all, i am studying in canada right now and i can't see my own doctor in the US for 2 and a half more weeks. what should i do? i am scared for my health, i want to get better so i can start eating and doing normal stuff again.
