Does anyone know a good way to treat insomnia?

Question:
I have not been sleeping well all summer can somebody please help?

Answers:
breathing techniques before you go to sleep/bed. sit up and take long, deep breaths, as long as you can suck in, blow out.

also, don't watch tv or read before going to bed. you don't want your mind to be active an hour or two before.

drink some tea, breath & try to relax before bed time. try taking some melatonin to relax your mind & body.

also, exercise during the day, at least 30 minutes, so that your body becomes more tired during the day. try to get up early, you'll be even more tired by the time it's time for bed. and don't drink any coffee if you can help it. if you need it in the am, don't drink more than one cup, and certainly don't drink any after noon.
Passiflora tablets or tincture. It's Passion flower extract.
,,,more exercise.if you live in a medical weed state thet would help.It works better than sleeping pills and no side effects.
Go to GNC store and buy Valerian root. Its all organic. It stinks like crap but I just bought some yesterday and I slept like a baby all night. Its awesome.
You need to go and see a dr. there may be an underlining problem that you are not aware of. It is better to be safe than sorry!
use Nytol
Yes, actually. I was a chronic insomniac getting an average of eight hours of sleep a week. I've found that eating three square meals a day, none within an hour of the time I go to bed helps. Drinking a healthy amount of water helps as well, but once again, not too much before bed. At least thirty minutes of aerobic exercise a day will increase your need for sleep. Stay away from your computer, caffeine, your television, and any video game systems before you try to sleep. All of the above stimulate your eyes and mind, making you restless and unable to fall asleep. Insomnia can also be caused by stress and overwork. Slow down. Take a long walk in your neighborhood or a bath. Just relax and take a break.

I've done all these things and all of my family has noticed a positive change in my behavior, and I now get over eight hours of sleep every night, seven times what I used to get.
Insomnia is often caused by fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs, caffeine, depression or sometimes for no apparent reason. Make sure your bedroom is quiet and dark. Soak a tablespoon of mint leaves in a cup of water for an hour, drink every night. Check out http://useinfo-insomnia.blogspot.com/... for more info
