I wish to donate my body [after death] to any of medical college in Mumbai?

Question:
I am 75 years old. I am as fit as a race horse. I wish to donate my body [after death]. I need a list of NGOs, institutions, or medical colleges, which can accept my dead body [with all the legal formalities completed before I die, and the body can be taken within 2 hours of death, so that the parts can be used for some useful purpose]. I am healthy, no children, no wife, and have no problem of any desease [except the contract operation in both eyes, done in Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai-18]. I shall appreciate any help, or guidance, in this matter. I want to finish all the legal formalities befor I die]
Best Wishes to all.
Kindly contact me and oblige.

It is a good idea you are welcome.
Sir, I am 52 and I have given my body after death to RED CROSS SOCIATY.I think you should also contact RED CROSS,because I don't trust hospitals for charging patience for the donated organs.May GOD bless you with a long and healthy life.
Donate to a noble ngo not business people better Red cross.
Dear Mr. Thadani,
Congratulations for such a noble & selfless thought.
U have the option of donating the eyes to an eye bank which is attached to the municipal / govt hospital in ur area. U may register urself / relatives can inform the eye bank when appropriate. The rest of the body may be donated to a medical college hospital preferably a public organisation.

The other option wuld be to donate the body to apvt. organisation / transplant society where every major organ can be retrieved and provided to the long suffering needy patients.

The western countries have a well organised network with legal support with a higher efficiency & success rate.

BEST WISHES .
