Ears still ringing 3 days after going to concert?
Question:
Has anyone been in a similar situation, how long did it take to go and anything i can do to help it cure.
I always wear ear protection but this time didn't come prepared ... will never make that mistake again.

It's called Tinnitus. You can read all about it in Wikipedia. I had the same thing after a concert once and it lasted for about a week. Within that time, I went to the doctor and got a hearing test, which I passed. Day by day, it faded away. Give it a little more time and hopefully it will fade for you as well. Until then, avoid loud music and other loud noises to allow your ears a chance to heal.
i went to a system of down was was right in front of the stage and my ears stopped ringing a day after the concert an di didn't have ear protection
I know what it is like, i do some audio engineering for concerts in my spare time and if i dont wear ear protection i get it.
It will subside in time but what your experiencing is Tinnitus. IF it doesnt subside in another day or 2 i would go to your doctor as it could be something like a build up of ear wax thats making it not clear quickly.
Consult a physician. They may give you the same advice as some of the other posters, but don't take any chances.
I'm having the same problem! I went to a concert on Wednesday night without protection and this is the third day my ears have been ringing...I think mine has faded a bit and there might be patches of time when it's not ringing at all.but it's driving me crazy!
