Why are they blaming pizza on America's lower life expectancy?

Question:
Pizza is my favorite food of all time.

It's the top story on Yahoo this morning that America's life expectancy is dropping. And they show a picture of various hands graabbing slices from a pizzapie.

I feel live I am gonna live up into my late 80s or ealry 90s.
Well on the other hand, I am a slim and fit white girl.

Answers:
Because pizza is full of artery clogging fat...hence your artery gets clogged and this leads to heart disease...so pizza hut, mcdonalds, burger king etc etc will eventually kill you if you eat to much of the stuff
They aren't blaming pizza, they are blaming our over indulgence and just included a picture of one of our favorite foods. It also happens to be an unhealthy alternative, however a burger and fries are much much worse.

But it isn't the food we are eating necessarily it's the quantity. We super-size everything we eat, more is better. Triple the burgers, triple the fries, triple the coke. I see kids walking around drinking a 64 ounce coke. How much sugar are they taking in each day?

We don't see the effects of our choices right away, but now it's showing up in our life expectancy. Very interesting.
Because the US is turning into a society where nobody is responsible for their own actions anymore. It's not Fatty's fault for eating four slices of pizza at a time - it's the fault of the pizza makers for making it. Just like when people sued McDonald's because Fatty chose to eat six burgers, three large fries, a colossal shake, and three apple pies. That was McDonald's fault for making it and giving them what they paid for, not Fatty's fault for shoving it into their own fat face.
