Why doesn't men's deoderant work on women?

Question:
I bought some, just because I like how it smells and I put it on just to do and it doesn't work at alllllll. It doesn't dry or anything and it's just there kind of to smell good. It's not gel or a white solid. Its like a clear solid kind of thing. I'm just wondering why it doesn't work.

Answers:
The brand probably doesn't work on men either. Does it actually say "anti-perspirant" on it? If not then it is just a scented stick.
Are you sure it is not just the deoderant? I have had the same problem with deoderant names like "Old Spice" I doubt there is a difference between men's and women's deoderant. Did you have your boyfriend try it?
just FYI ... it doesn't work that well on men either :)
Some are antiperspirant and some are deodorants only others are a mix of the two. I guess there is a market for people who don't sweat but don't want to smell or people who don't smell but sweat.

Also as was said some of them don't work very well at all.
first of all it probably burns cause we shave our underarms and guys dont so its not made for sensitive skin.. also if it doesnt say anti perspirant then it wont make you not sweat it will just smell good like a scented stick..
Really? i use old spice and i'm a chic and it works fine. I use the blue gel kind.
