Do I have to go through my doctor to get varicella titter, ppd tested?

Question:
Or can I just go straight to the labs and get tested.
I need it done for my school, thanks

Answers:
Dear Hinmai...!
You have to see your Doctor because it is second reading that is required by your Doctor at Immunization Clinic. S/he will check the immunity to Tuberculosis and Chicken Pox respectively and thus administer Vaccine accordingly if required...

So going to your Doctor is hereby suggested...
Those are two different things. The varicella is the chicken pox shot and the PPD is a test for tuberculosis. You actually can get both at your local health dept.
