Health question about vommiting, diagnose me?

Question:
I throw up every morning for like the last 2 years. I do smoke, but I don't think that is why. I start caughing, then it hits my gag reflex, then I spew. My mother has the same thing and she doesn't smoke. Any idea what it could be?

Answers:
Your gag reflex might be more sensitive than others, or you might have a loose esophageal sphincter. Which means that food/gastric juice can not stay in the stomach and it shoots up because your esophageal sphincter is not tight enough.
*Chronic vomiting could cause esophageal cancer. You should really go to a doctor and see if this is the case.
Not even a doctor can diagnose you via the Internet. Go to your doctor.
