Why do I only react to spider bites?

Well, with every allergy..you only get a reaction after you've been exposed to it mulitple times or as little as twice.
Not everyone is allergic to bees, so thats no big deal. As for the poison ivy..you most likely haven't been exposed to it enough for a reaction.
Many people are allergic to different things. You allergy is to spiders...many spiders actually have a type of venom that your having a slight reaction too. Keep in mind that the most poisoness carrying creature out there is the Daddy Long Legs. He's just too little to do us any harm.
In any case the best thing for any type of allergic reaction is liquid benedryl. It is the same thing you'll get in a the hospital under a different name.
Because you are allergic to the venom that spiders release when they bite you, it's a pretty common thing actually, plenty other people react, too. Just make sure to get proper treatment recommended by a physician.
