Answers:
You probably need to go to your doctor so he can give you antibiotics, but until then, get AZO...it turns your pee orange but it helps with the pain and the being uncomfortable!
water with lemon
lemonade
limeade
Anything with acidic in it is what the doc told me, the acidic eats away the bacteria
Seeing a doctor and getting the proper medication for it.
It will help, but the process takes longer than the antibiotics.
Go to Right-aid or wall-mart and get some med that helps clear that infection up. That can be so uncomfortable...I hope you get better soon...
Anything that is high in vitamin c will help bladder infections. That is what is in cranberry juice. Bacteria cannot live in an acidic environment. Also drinking large amounts of water will help.
There is nothing you can to do make a bladder infection get better quicker aside from medication from a physician; drinking cranberry juice and other things only help to prevent one. You could wait it out and hope it goes away, but infections can lead to more serious problems. A drug called Azo-Standard is available OTC and will help with the pain/symptoms, but will not cure the infection.
as a matter infact i just had one 3 weeks ago all my doctor told me that i was sexually active so i told him yes and he gave me pain pills and antibiotic's it went away 2 days later. go see a doctor for your med's
A round or two of antibiotics. Lots of water. Limit tea, coffee and colas to 1 a day.Avoid chocolate and dairy products, and sugar until cured. Taking vitamin c helps also. In the old days, ladies drank apple cider vinegar water which will help wash out the infection.
unfortunately, this is one of those things that just gets worse if you dont take an antibiotic. I have been down this road many times.
Azo may help but rarely gets rid of the problem.
I've heard that Alka Seltzer helps.
Drink plenty of water an dcranberry juice, but also make sure you get some proper medication as it can get worse and cause a fever and you could pass out in extreme cases. Hope you feel better soon!
